40th anniversary Danner Light

You could definitely say that the Danner Light was ahead of its time when the company started experimenting with a new technical material called GORE-TEX in 1978. It was the first boot to use the waterproof and breathable membrane and as you can imagine, they were immediately scooped up by outdoorsmen of all types and is still a popular style to this day. This year, Danner is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the boot with a limited edition that features a full-grain leather and a rugged 1000D nylon upper, GORE-TEX lining, a removable Ortholite footbed, a Vibram Kletterlift outsole, and of course, each pair is recraftable.
