Converse, like many companies, took on a number of military projects during the second World War. This heritage inspired their latest collection, the Mountain Club Capsule. Inspired by the a rubberized military boot produced by Converse in the 1950s, the collection features new versions of the Chuck Taylor All Star, One Star, and Fastbreak, all of which use Gore-Tex's technical fabrics to give each of the shoes a waterproof upgrade.

The Mountain Club Capsule will be available at Converse and select retailers on November 8th.
