The Breitling Navitimer gets an all-new collection for its 70th birthday
The Breitling Navitimer definitely needs no introduction and this year the watch turns 70 years old. To mark the occasion, the watchmaker is introducing an all-new collection that's comprised of three sizes: 46mm, 43mm, and 41mm. While the watch is still immediately and undeniably a Navitimer in its design, Breitling has made a few subtle updates that include a flattened slide rule and domed crystal while polished and brushed finishes give it a more refined look.
Visually, the watch gets a new selection of dial colors in blue, green, and copper and the AOPA wings return to its home at 12 o'clock. The watch also comes in stainless steel or 18-karat red gold and the watch's are powered by Breitling's COSC-certified B01 in-house automatic movement with a 70-hour power reserve. All sizes feature a sapphire-covered caseback to give you a full view of the movement.
