Birchall and Taylor Reference 1

Canadian watchmaking is not something you usually hear about, but with watches like Birchall & Taylor's Reference 1, you might want start paying attention. Toronto-based founders Charles Birchall and Brad Taylor began their watchmaking journey in Locle, Switzerland, a famous hub for watch manufacturing and from there, an ongoing discussion led to the founding of their brand in 2017. The end result is the beautiful Reference 1, a classic watch design featuring a Grand Feu enamel dial, a micro-rotor automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve, a 38mm 316L stainless steel case, and a Louisiana-sourced black alligator leather strap to tie it all together.
