Bellroy releases its first range of bags made from recycled fabrics
The bags are made from bottles that are turned into polyester fibers.
Bellroy is doubling down on recycled fabrics with a new range of bags that use yarns created from recycled plastic bottles. The company aims to have 90% of their woven products made from natural or recycled fabrics by the middle of 2021 and by their estimates they will have saved seven million plastic single-use water bottles from ending up in a landfill. The brand is bringing the fabrics to twelve of their styles including the Classic Backpack Plus (above), which uses 27 500ML bottles to make.
