Three years after their first collection, Baltic is releasing a tasteful evolution of their original timepieces with the MK2 versions of the Bicompax and HMS 001. The 40s-inspired dials and cases stay true to the original designs but receive what the brand calls a "small touch of art-deco." The 38mm 316L stepped stainless steel case hosts features a new dial that features a stepped circular brushed chapter ring with a 12-hour scale. The treatment surrounds a central component with a matte, grainy finish and comes in black, silver, and blue gilt (above). Fitted to the case is a selection of new straps crafted by a French company and a steel "beads of rice" bracelet is also available. The watch is assembled and adjusted in France and is powered by a Seagull ST19 manually-wound movement or a Miyota 821A automatic.
