Most famously used by Rolex, 904L stainless steel is regarded for its durability, which uses added amounts of chromium, molybdenum, nickel, and copper. This composition enhances its corrosion and rust resistance making it a perfect metal for Ball's new tool watch, the Roadmaster Icebreaker. The 40mm timepiece can be equipped with a COSC-certified BALL RR1702-C automatic movement or a standard automatic, both of which have a 42-hour power reserve. The watch also features tritium tubes for easier reading in dark conditions, shock and magnetic resistance, water-resistance up to 100m/330ft, and a tapered 904L stainless steel bracelet.
Pre-orders are available on September 4th and deliveries are set for January and February 2020.
