When Apple revealed the Apple Watch Series 7, the company offered up a rather vague "Late Fall" release date instead of releasing it alongside the new iPhone. The company has now officially announced a firm release date with availability beginning on Friday, October 15th. The new Series 7 will feature a refined case design that Apple describes to have "softer, more rounded corners" and a larger screen size with 1.7mm thin bezels. Available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, the watch will also be their most durable ever with IP6X certification for dust resistance and a WR50 water resistance rating. The watch will come in five new aluminum finishes (above) and will continue to be offered in steel, titanium, Hermes, and Nike editions.

Pre-orders begin on October 8th.
