Jeep unveils its fifth-generation Grand Cherokee with a whole host of new features both inside and out. The Grand Cherokee arrives with a new design that has cleaner, more modern lines and a look that is unmistakably Jeep. It will be offered with a variety of powertrains that includes a 3.6L V6, a 5.7L V8, and an all-new 4xe powertrain. The 4xe model (above) brings a plug-in hybrid that marries a 2.0L turbocharged I-4 with an electric motor that produces 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque while also offering a targeted all-electric range of 25 miles.

The new Jeep will also be available with four 4x4 systems, a class-exclusive Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension with electronic semi-active damping, class-exclusive sway bar disconnect, and up to 7,200 lbs of maximum towing when configured with the 5.7L V8. The interior has also been given a big upgrade with a more luxurious cabin that has 16-way adjustable front seats, a 10.1-inch digital cluster, an available 10.25-inch passenger display, and Fire TV compatibility to stream your favorite content to the passenger displays. Jeep has also worked exclusively with McIntosh to bring a powerful 19-speaker, 17-channel amplifier audio system that delivers a massive 950 watts of audio.

The new Grand Cherokee will hit dealerships later this year.
