How do you build a supercar-grade bicycle? When you're Specialized you don't team up with just any car company, you call upon one of the best and brightest in the business: McLaren. The hypercar builder is assisting them with what is essentially a 650S on two wheels, the new S-Works McLaren Tarmac.

Limited to 250 examples worldwide, the bike will be the finest example of Specialized bike engineering and the most exclusive. Purchasing the bike is akin to the same service you get when buying a bespoke supercar, once you've made your order, the company brings you into a dealer to get a Body Geometry Fit consultation to get you setup and customized with the perfect frame size and even handlebar and saddle width, stem length, and crank size are tuned specifically to each individual rider.

On the spec-front you can imagine they spared no expense with every little detail and component. The bike's frame uses a carbon layup process developed with McLaren to achieve a lightweight design without compromising the bike's strength and performance. Even the paint is supercar-grade with a special two-tone colorway that combines a black paint with a subtle flake and an orange based on McLaren's signature color. You'll also receive an exclusive Prevail helmet and Road shoes which are designed with the same color scheme as the bike. Reservations for the bike will begin on July 2nd and closes on July 31st.

$20,000, Specialized
