There's no way around it, you've got to wear a helmet on the slopes if you want to stay safe on the mountain. POC's newest helmet uses a technology they've developed called "SPIN" that uses an array of pads that replace the traditional foam inserts with Spin pads that shear in any direction, reducing the amount of force placed on the brain during a fall and it still maintains the fit of their helmets without any changes.
