Nike's latest Metcon keeps up with the progress of evolving training regimes
The Metcon 5 amplifies its focus on stability and durability.
The end result of over 9,000 hours of testing, Nike debuts the next iteration of its popular training shoe, the Metcon 5. The new model has a haptic chain-link pattern that can hold up better to rope climbs, more cushioning in the tongue for improved support, a wider heel and a Hyperlift insert for stability during lifting exercises, a dual-density drop-in midsole for increased flexibility in the forefoot, and a grippier and more durable sole.
Available June 27th for NikePlus and NTC Pro Members and globally on July 8th.
