Garmin adds solar charging tech to its Instinct, fēnix, and tactix smartwatches

Smartwatches are great and they continue to make an impact on the traditional watch market, but they always have had one major issue: battery life. Garmin continues to challenge that with solar charging technology and they've now added it to three of their watch lines. Available on the Instinct, fēnix (above), and tactix smarwatches, you'll be able to up to 24 days of battery life (Instinct model) and a whopping 50+ days with adequate exposure to the sun. Your move, Apple.
