Burton Step On

If there's one thing skiiers have always had on snowboarders, it's that they're always ready to go when they get off the lift. Burton wants to eliminate the process of strapping in with a new take on the strap-less binding with the Step On ($249). Five years in development, the Step On has three connection points: two at the toe and one at the heel to keep you secure to your binding. Just step in and you're all set to go. Easy as that.

The binding will require a Step On boot ($299-$399), which is also designed from the ground up for efficiency as it has a dual-zone BOA system so you can easily twist a dial to tighten your boot versus having to lace up. The binding system is also compatible with virtually every mounting system on the market.

The Burton Step On will be available on November 2nd.
