One of the biggest questions (and fears) going through the minds of sneakerheads after the release of the Jordan 23 was will there be a 24? The answer is technically yes, but rather than build a 24 Nike has appropriately retired the numbering scheme for a yearly naming routine which leads into the next shoe in the legendary line, the Air Jordan 2009. The shoe features "Articulated Propulsion Technology" which was inspired by the high performance carbon fiber prosthetic used by Paralympian runners. The shoe also follows Nike's Considered Design philosophy which is a program to make the development and materials of Nike's footwear more eco-friendly. Available January 31st in a limited edition and nationwide on February 14th. Link: $190-$230
