adidas has had some experience with building sneakers that are made from reclaimed and recycled materials, but this time they're taking it further with the new FUTURECRAFT.LOOP. The new running shoes are designed from the ground up to be 100% recyclable to ensure a virtually infinite life for each pair of sneakers. Every element of the FUTURECRAFT.LOOP is made from a 100% reusable TPU that is all put together using adidas' high-tech SPEEDFACTORY technology. Once the shoes are no longer usable, they can be resent to adidas, who will ground the shoe into pellets and will then recycle that material into another pair.

adidas plans to release the FUTURECRAFT.LOOP in 2021.
