Second example of the Vincent Black Lightning

With only 30 examples ever built, the Vincent Black Lightning isn't just a rare bike, it's a bike that rarely goes up for sale and is considered by many to be one of the finest motorcycles to ever come out of Britain. Bonhams has got its hands on the second example built, a stunning example that was purchased brand new in 1949 by Swiss racer and NSU factory racer, Hans Stärkle.

The bike has the full ownership history since day one and is said to be the earliest, most original example in existence. Another Vincent Black Lightning holds the record for the most valuable bike to ever be sold at auction. That bike sold for almost $1 million dollars so expect this one to fetch a small fortune as well.
