Royal Enfield Himalayan

Royal Enfield is finally bringing its Himalayan motorcycle to America, attacking the middleweight segment that the company plans to dominate. A purists motorcycle through and through, the bike is rugged and versatile without drowning in excessive features. The bike is powered by their LS 410 single-cylinder, 4 stroke engine that produces 24.5-hp and 23.6 lb-ft of torque. Built for adventure touring, the bike is ready for on and off-road riding with a 4 gallon tank that is good for about 250 miles of range.

The company also paid attention to the balance between the seat pegs, handlebars, and seat height for a more comfortable feel when on longer rides. The seat height was set at 31.5-inches to make it easier to plant your feet on the ground for better control while dual-purpose tires deliver traction on a variety of surfaces.

The bike will be available this April with a variety of official Royal Enfield accessories to follow in the coming months.
