Vitra Fiberclass Eames Chair

A design and furniture icon, Vitra is bringing back the Eames Fiberglass Chair in its original construction. Vitra has been working with the Eames Office since 1999 with a polypropylene version of the chair and since then the company has always wanted to make a return to the original material. Always keeping an eye on developments in fiberglass production, the company has found a way to bring back the beloved fiberglass shells complete with the original's irregular surface texture and visible fibers and they're also going to be available in six of the original colorways.

The chairs will be available from Vitra in Europe and the Middle East and Herman Miller in other regions.
