The Balvenie launches "A Collection of Curious Casks," two new limited-edition whiskies curated by Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie. Inspired by the warehouse's unique single cask whiskies, the collection features an 18-Year-Old French Pinneau Cask Finish and a 14-Year-Old American Bourbon Barrel. The 14-Year-Old is described to have aromas of toffee, oak, citrus, and honey musk with a palate of candied orange peel, roasted malt, and "deep vanilla oakiness." The French Pineau Cask has been described to have aromas of toasted oak and spices, butterscotch, and berries with a spicy and sweet palate with notes of vanilla, honey, and oaky tannins.

Both expressions are available in limited quantities at global retailers starting today and a US release will follow later this summer.
