Sneaker Con, the popular, touring sneaker gathering is taking their efforts one step further with a new app that delivers the latest news on upcoming releases as well as product reviews and other sneaker-related content. One of the most interesting features of the app is their Sneaker Con Authenticated Program, which places NFC-enabled "Legit Tags", which are like high-tech certificates of authenticity that not only indicate that the shoes are genuine, but can also give you information about the shoe, let you add it to your collection on the app, or put it into the marketplace.

The app is currently available on the App Store and soon on Google Play.
