The new hotel brand is inspired by the philosophy of "Less, but Better."
Sister City NYC

The folks behind the Ace Hotel took it back to the basics with their new property, Sister City. The 200-room New York hotel was designed around the "Less, but Better" philosophy and as you can see in the photos, that idea has been executed with minimalist interiors and a whole lot of beautifully-finished wood. The wood-filled rooms add warmth to the interiors and features like a modular desk with a built-in TV make efficient use of the space. As for food and drink, the ground floor will be home to Floret, a restaurant with a mix of Mediterranean, East Asian, North African, Australian and Californian flavors and Last Light, a rooftop bar with views of New York City and a menu full of specialty cocktails, wine, and small plates.

Sister City is now open on the Lower East Side at 225 Bowery.
