Shinola Hotel

Detroit's famed Woodward Ave. is now home to Shinola's first-ever hotel property. The 129-room hotel takes over the T.B. Rayl & Co. sporting goods and hardware store and a former Singer sewing-machine store. The luxurious, mid-century modern rooms are surrounded in loft-style windows with views of downtown Detroit and offer spaces from a 275-325 Sq. Ft. "Study Queen" to a 875 to 1100 Sq. Ft. Penthouse option, which includes features like private terraces, Shinola turntables with a curated record collection, separate dining areas, and gas fireplaces.

The hotel will be home to a variety of dining options spearheaded by New York-based  Chef, Andrew Carmellini. This will include everything from Southern Italian and Sicilian cuisine to a Beer Hall, a Detroit-style fried chicken spot, and two bar options. There will also be curated shopping options from brands such as Le Labo and Madewell as well as local retailers like Drought and Good Neighbor.

The Shinola Hotel is now open at 1400 Woodward Ave.
