Rimowa and USM create a one-off Haller
An all-aluminum overhaul of USM's iconic Haller system.
Introduced in the 1960s, the Haller system was the end result of Fritz Haller and Paul Schärer Jr.'s need to create furniture pieces that match the functional aesthetic of the USM factory. USM's Haller system continues to be celebrated for its modularity and to many is seen as a benchmark in furniture design. This week, Rimowa and USM have teamed up to present a one-off version of the Haller that has been fitted with the iconic grooved aluminum panels.
No plans have been announced to produce these for the public.
