Edinburgh's Pickering's Gin is offering up an interesting new limited edition that should grab the attention of whisky and gin drinkers alike. Their new Oak Aged collection ages their gin from three to six months in single malt whisky casks using barrels from Islay, Speyside, the Lowlands, Islands and the Highlands. The end result is five new limited edition gin expressions, each with their own aroma and flavor profiles that range from citric to peaty. The gins will be produced in a 200 bottle run for each cask and will never be produced again.
