Buffalo Trace's Old Charter Oak series releases its second limited edition, a French Oak-aged bourbon made from the same mashbill used to make a number of Buffalo Trace's coveted whiskeys such as Eagle Rare, George T. Stagg, and Colonel E.H. Taylor. Bottle at 92 proof, French Oak's tasting notes are described to have a nose of "vanilla with hints of apricot, cherry, and rose petal" with a palate of "creamy maple syrup" and a "long finish of chocolate and toasted oak."

French Oak is now available and is available in limited quantities. A third limited edition in the Old Charter Oak series will follow sometime this year.
