Miles Nurnberger

Tasked with spearheading the design of the interior and exterior of Aston Martin's automobiles, Miles Nurnberger's work certainly needs no introduction. The designer joined the company in 2008 and in 2018 Nurnberger became Director of Design, helping to create a new vision for the brand while staying true to its core DNA. The designer sat down with us to give us a look at his go-to design tools, what he's currently reading, and the best Indian food in town.

Wacom Intuos Pro

"In front of me - MacBook Pro and a Wacom drawing tablet (I use a Wacom Intuos Pro. I have two. A really small and portable A5 sized one, and the one I normally used which is A4 sized) - I couldn’t work without it. Photoshop, Outlook, Skype, WhatsApp, Zoom…. all going on at the same time!"

Melin

"On my head- Melin Baseball Cap – In the bizarrely good weather we have right now in the UK, I have set up office on our decking outside. The Melin caps are super comfy and stop all that sunshine glare!"

Parasole 2.0

"On my feet - Parasole 2.0 socks – I have a huge sneaker collection but little place to go in them currently, so I am living in a pair of these Flyknit style shoe/socks I got from indiegogo.com"

neversplit

"For my brainNever Split The Difference by Chris Voss – great book by the former head of hostage negotiation at the FBI. Fascinating insight into how people think and what ultimately motivates us."

brazinoldvine

"For my soul - a glass of Brazin Old Zinfandel – nothing makes me happier than a nice glass of red wine!"

Local Favorites (Warwick, UK):

Shukurs Brasserie

"Shukurs Brasserie – our favourite local Indian restaurant - award winning and our almost religious “go to” place on a Friday night for a take away"

"Our local solar powered café – The Garden Shed Café – our normal morning coffee stop on the way back from the school run, but for now, we order sourdough pizza on a Thursday night"
