Montblanc's latest Meisterstück features a curved nib for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean calligraphy
The nib has a 45 degree curve to enhance ink flow.
Montblanc introduces a new Meisterstück model that has a nib that's curved at 45 degrees. Each nib is hand-sculpted from solid gold in a 35-step process by the brand's artisans, who have ground the Au750/18K curved nib at 45 degrees to allow for the versatility of ink flow required by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean calligraphy. It is the first time Montblanc has fitted this type of nib to its pens, which is fitted to a traditional Meisterstück Precious Resin body.
