Anyone who's ever had a sip of Laphroaig either loves it or hates it. It's bold flavor is a bit startling to some, but ask any loyal fan and they'll tell you they can't get enough of the brand's signature smokey flavor. This month, Laphroaig introduces what they're calling their richest single malt expression to date: Lore.

Lore celebrates 200 years of years of whisky mastery with its unique and peaty profile that comes from double matured first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, virgin European Oak, first-fill oloroso sherry butts, first-fill and refill quarter casks, and refill ex-Laphroaig stock. The end result of that process is a 96 proof whisky that is described as having a peaty, spicy flavor with a nose of seaside minerals, chocolate, chestnut, and citrus.
