Knob Creek Quarter Oak

The bold flavors of the bourbons created before prohibition have always served as the inspiration for Knob Creek and this year the company is celebrating founder Booker Noe's vision for the brand with their new Quarter Oak limited edition. A whiskey that's aged for four years in quarter cask, American oak barrels is mixed with Knob Creek's signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon to create an expression with deeper notes of oak. The taste profile is described to have an aroma of toasted oak and dried fruits, a taste of sweet and heavy oak with notes of char, dried fruits, and brown spices, and a finish of sweet charred oak and a lingering dryness.
