Jameson has got a new bottle of Irish Whiskey that will serve as the top-of-the-line expression of their collection. Bow Street 18 spent 18 years in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks and then a blend of pot still and grain Irish whiskeys are are married and re-casked in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak barrels for six-twelve months.
Billy Leighton, Jameson Master Blend describes the tasting notes with a nose of "Rich wood-driven influence with deep toffee notes and spice." a taste of "toffee and oak with hints of leather and vanilla along with a subtle sherry nuttiness creating depth and complexity" and a finish that's "long and full with the sweet toffee notes slowly fading while the toasted oak and spice linger throughout until the very end."
