Starting later next month, IWC is going to start to offer virtual customized tours of its headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Anyone with an internet connection will be able to immediately transport themselves to IWC HQ, where their in-person tour will be recreated digitally. Virtual visitors will have access to watch production, seeing every step of the process, from the making of movements to assembly. You can even virtually step into a watchmaker's shoes with IWC's patented Cyberloupe technology that uses a specially developed version of a watchmaker's magnifying glass that has an integrated camera to get a real-time view of the creation of their carefully crafted timepieces.
Tours will begin on September 28th and can be booked at IWC.com, IWC boutiques, and their official retail partners.
