Huus Gstaad Room

Formerly the Steigenberger Hotel, the seven-story, 136-room Huus Gstaad is a newly-renovated addition to the Bernese Highlands, located on a hillside between Saanen and Gstaad. The classic Swiss chalet greets you with floor to ceiling windows and a large lounge space that features a bar, library, and terrace. Designer Erik Nissen Johanssen describes the overall theme as “a friend with a gorgeous home who takes you on incredible outdoor experiences and then serves you a delicious meal by the fireplace.”

The hotel's four restaurants are spearheaded by award-winning gourmet chef Giuseppe Colella who has created family-focused, tapas-style menus for each location. The rooms will feature beds by Hästens, natural wool blankets, pendulum lighting, and every room will have a balcony or terrace with views of the surrounding mountains.

Guests will also be ready for exploration as the hotel has provided each room with Mammut backpacks, aluminum water bottles, and Zeiss Binoculars. When it comes to keeping up to date on the day's news, each room will have a SuitePad from Samsung that gives you access to 150 complimentary newspapers and magazines.
