Gordon & MacPhail Mr George Legacy 1953

Gordon & Macphail expands its collection of exclusive whiskies with its new Legacy series. The first release is a rare 67-year-old whisky from the Glen Grant Distillery that honors George Urquhart, a man who many consider to be the father of the single malt. Aged in a first-fill Sherry butt cask, the whisky was bottled in January of this year at a cask strength of 59.4% ABV and is described to have an aroma of beeswax polish, stewed fruit, and hazlenuts with a taste of spice, plum, and blackcurrant and a finish of fruit, spice, and bonfire embers.

Limited to 355 bottles.
