Glenfiddich reveals their latest expression, Fire & Cane, a whisky named for its mix of smoky and sweet notes. The expression combines peated whisky and malts that are matured in bourbon barrels and are then finished in Latin rum casks. The overall flavor is described as a sweet and fruity whisky with smoky notes and an added caramel sweetness.

Glenfiddich's own profile describes to have a nose of "billowing soft peat notes, like distant smoke on the wind. Rich sweet toffee with zesty fresh fruit notes and spiciness" with a taste "like Billowing soft peat notes, like distant smoke on the wind.
