Espolòn introduces its newest tequila, an extra ańejo that has been aged for six years, which is rare as most tequilas are aged for 2-3 years. The tequila is housed in an all-black, handmade bottle that's inspired by Barro Negro, a traditional Mexican art form that grew in popularity in the 1950s. Made from Weber Blue Agave, Añejo X's flavor profile is described as "prominent vanilla with notes of nutmeg and white peppercorn, which are joined by hints of cocoa nibs, bitter chocolate, rich roasted fruits, and agave."
