The latest from the highly-respected Buffalo Trace Distillery is a new limited edition bottle in their Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr. line, Seasoned Wood Bourbon. Bottled in Bond, Kentucky, the 100 proof bourbon is made from a small batch wheat recipe and is aged over a decade in barrels that go through up to a year-long process before getting dried and seasoned. The bourbon itself is described to have aromas of caramel and dried fruit with tastes of butterscotch, almond, citrus, and spicy clove. The bottle is a one-time release and will be available in limited quantities in late March.
