American Express' latest card is made out of marine plastic
The iconic charge card goes green.
American Express is releasing a new version of its iconic green credit card and it marks the first time a company has issued a card made from reclaimed plastic. The company has collaborated with Parley for the Oceans, who has become known for its expertise in upcycling marine plastics. Available later in the year, American Express will offer both their consumer in corporate cards in a version that is constructed primarily out of marine plastics sourced from the ocean.
