It's official, Volvo's XC lineup is quite possibly the best looking range of SUVs of any luxury automaker. The company just unveiled the new XC40, which will be the smallest of their SUV range. While it might be compact, the car is big on style, performance, and of course, safety.
It's the brand's first attempt at a compact SUV and as you can see, they've definitely hit it out of the park when it comes to styling. Though it's the smallest model, the car has a more athletic appearance than its two larger siblings with its chiseled lines and confident presence.
The body and roof of the car can be individually colored for a total of 17 color combinations, which wrap around a mood-lit interior that illuminates an interior filled with metal and textile and plenty of natural light if equipped with the optional panoramic roof.
You'll also find plenty of tech such as a Wireless Qi charging pad, a 9" Sensus Connect touchscreen, 360-degree cameras, and an air-ventilated woofer design that is situated behind the dashboard to allow for more storage space without compromising on sound.
The car will launch with a four-cylinder T5 Drive-E powertrain with all-wheel drive and a fully electric model has been announced for a future release.
