Toyota is releasing a high-performance variant of the Corolla with a new GR model that turns the high-volume seller into a 300 hp hot hatch. Powered by a lightweight, 1.6L three-cylinder direct/port injected turbo engine, the GR Corolla produces 300 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque and is configured with a GR-Four All-Wheel-Drive system and it will only come with a manual transmission. The car will come in two versions: a Core Grade and Circuit Edition. 

The Core Grade will come in white, black, and Supersonic Red and comes with a color keyed roof with rear lip spoiler, GR-Four stamped side rockers, and wide fender flares. The Circuit Edition will come in white, Supersonic Red, and Heavy Metal and has all the features of the Core Grade while adding a forged carbon fiber roof, vented bulge hood, a sporty rear spoiler, Brin Naub suede-trimmed sport seats with red accents, a Morizo-signed shift knob.
