One of the most highly anticipated vehicles in recent years has finally surfaced and if you're one of the 130,000 people who threw down their $1,000, here's what you'll have in your driveway come 2017. The Tesla Model 3 will be the most affordable electric car in the company's lineup and will launch at $35,000 before incentives.

The car is no slouch either. It will get from 0-60 in under six seconds and will be able to travel up to 215 miles per charge in the entry level trim. Inside, the car is devoid of traditional gauges and buttons, everything is controlled via a flat screen at the center console. If you want one, Tesla has already begun pre-orders with reservations of $1,000 (limited to two per household) and deliveries are set for late next year.
