Smart is going electric and they have unveiled their first fully electric SUV with the Smart #1. The compact SUV is designed to be quick, versatile, and nimble with a 200 kW engine that produces 268 hp and and 252 lb-ft of torque. Keeping the car powered is a 66 kWh battery that allows for a range of 260-273 miles (WLTP) and can charge at up to 150kW on a DC fast charger, which will get you from 10%-80% in just half an hour. When it comes to features, the #1 packs a panoramic glass roof, digital keys, flush door handles, a large 12.8" center console display, customizable ambient lighting, a 13-speaker Beats sound system,  and "Extensive smart Pilot" that offers stop & go and traffic jam driver assistance.

Unfortunately, Smart has completely pulled out of the US and has no plans to bring the #1 stateside.
