Shelby Legendary Cars is teaming up with Shelby American to release a limited production series of Cobra Roadsters and Daytona Coupes that celebrate the racing career of Bob Bondurant. Bondurant won a number of championships including the GT Class at Le Mans and seven FIA World Championship races, including the only FIA Sports World Championship title.

The Cobras will be sold a race-ready car in aluminum or fiberglass without an engine and transmission and feature raked windscreens, driver's side knee pads, and a diagonal roll bar like the original CSX2345 raced by Bondurant. The continuation Daytona will feature a leaf spring suspension, a wooden-rimmed, tube framed steering wheel, and modern disc brakes and aluminum bodies.
