The illuminated stars have become a signature detail in modern Rolls-Royces and now the upcoming Ghost is expanding on that idea with a star cluster on the front fascia. Developed over two years, the Illuminated Fascia comes to life with a glowing Ghost nameplate that sits amongst 850 "stars" that come to life when the car is in operation. The effect is completely invisible when the Ghost is off and is achieved through a network of 152 LEDs that are placed above and below the fascia, which illuminated 90,00 laser-etched dots to emulate a twinkling starfield.

The new Ghost will be revealed on September 1st.
