Land Rover reveals the first full-size luxury SUV coupe

The Range Rover SV Coupe will be limited to 999 examples.

Land Rover is taking it back to the original Range Rover with a new two-door model called the Range Rover SV Coupe. The SVO-built special edition will push the Range Rover design language to new heights with jaw-dropping, frameless windows that surround the car in endless glass and a well-equipped interior that is filled with wood veneers and specially-selected semi-aniline leather.

Power comes from a 5.0L, 557-hp supercharged V8 engine that will get the coupe from 0-60 in five seconds and will reach a top speed of 165 mph. When it comes to options, customers will have an endless list to choose from. These options will include SV Premium Palette exterior colors in a variety of finishes, duo-tone leather interiors, a new Nautica veneer option that fuses walnut and sycamore woods, and for the first time ever, a 23-inch wheel option will be available.

Land Rover will be building 999 of the SV Coupes and each one will be hand-assembled at the SVO Technical Center in Warwickshire, UK.
