Porsche unveils the Taycan Cross Turismo
The Taycan line is expanding today with a new model that brings an off-road option to the all-electric model line. The Taycan Cross Turismo launches with four variants, each of which has dual-motor all-wheel-drive systems and their 800-volt battery architecture. When it comes to performance, the range-topping Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo can get from 0-60 in 2.7 seconds while the standard Turbo does it in 3.1. When you're off the asphalt, the car has a Gravel mode that increases the ride height by 10mm and tweaks the suspension, traction, and stability control.
The design of the car carries a longer and flatter roofline than the sedan, allowing for an increase in headroom and storage space. The car also features fender extensions, updated rocker panels, a new front and rear fascia, a 20mm higher ride height, and it comes with air suspension as standard equipment. You can also spec an Off Road Design Package that features added body cladding and it raises the ride height by another 10mm. As for tech, the Cross Turismo includes wireless Apple CarPlay, Apple Music and options like a Head Up Display, 14-way seats, and Burmester and Bose audio systems.
The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo hits dealerships this summer.
