The Boxster and the Cayman have always been celebrated for their driving prowess so why not focus in on that further? That just happened with the reveal of the 718 T, a driver-focused edition that features an equipment package that is designed to maximize the driving experience. These updates include 20-inch alloy wheels, a lowering of the chassis by 20mm, a six-speed gearbox with Porsche Torque Vectoring, and mechanical rear axle differential locking.
The cars will be powered by Porsche's turbocharged four-cylinder flat engine that produces 300 hp and can get from 0-62 in 4.7 seconds and will hit a top speed of 170 mph. Additional details include a storage compartment in place of the PCM module, a Sport Chrono package, and a PADM system that reduces vibrations in the engine and gearbox to optimize driving dynamics.
