Porsche has announced that it will go into production of the 911 Concept Speedster for the first half of 2019. The drop-top will be produced in a limited run of 1,948 examples and will be based on the current 991. It will be the first Porsche offered with Heritage Design Packages, a special accessory line by Porsche Exclusive that allows for deeper customization.

It will also be available with 21-inch center lock wheels, tinted day-time running lights, Talbot-shaped exterior mirrors, shortened window frames, and of course, that signature double-bubble cover. The cars will be based on the 911 Cabriolet and will be powered by a 500 hp flat-six engine.
