Polestar 2

Polestar has announced two new versions of the Polestar 2, expanding the lineup with a single motor model and a simplified configuration of the dual motor model. The new single motor model is powered by the same 78 kWh battery of the dual-motor models but gets a boost in range to 260 miles. Both the single motor and dual motor models can be optioned with a new Plus Pack option package that adds equipment like a full-length panoramic glass roof, a 13-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, WeaveTech vegan upholstery, Black Ash wood panels, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated wiper blades. The package will also include a mechanical heat pump that uses ambient heat and residual thermal energy from the drivetrain to heat the car without tapping into the battery, allowing for range gains of up to 10%.
