If you're driving a $300,000 supercar, you probably want to know all you can about how your car's tires are doing. Pirelli is offering this with their upcoming Connesso tire, which uses a tiny sensor to relay data to the Pirelli Cloud and app. The service keeps you updated on things like how much longer your tires will last, temperature, pressure, wear, and it can display a live pressure gauge on your smart phone when inflating your tires. All this data can be read when the car is stationary or moving and when maintenance is required, the app can help you book an appointment with the nearest dealer.

Connesso will launch in the USA this summer in the P Zero and Sottozero tires and will expand to Europe and the Far East shortly after.
